Exilis Elite features a fat-melting module and a skin-tightening module. During the treatment, precisely controlled radiofrequency energy is used to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This heat causes fat cells to shrink and contracts the skin tissue, stimulating new collagen production.

Exilis Elite is suitable for all ages (over 18 years) and all skin types. It can also be used to help rejuvenate many areas of the face including the eyes.

Exilis has two modules; one for fat reduction and one for skin tightening.

Fat reduction – this module heats fat cells to a temperature that causes them to burst, when the body’s lymphatic system can carry the fat away. It is highly effective on areas on areas of stubborn, diet- and exercise-resistant fat on the stomach, inner and outer thighs, upper arms and back.

Skin tightening – this module causes the collagen support tissues in the skin to remodel and tighten, thereby stimulating and strengthening the collagen network which improves skin laxity and texture. It delivers excellent results on facial areas prone to sagging, such as the jawline and under the eyes.

At the beginning of the Exilis treatment you will feel a deep heating sensation, which some clients compare to that of a hot stone massage. Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin, while the underside of the applicator provides cooling to the skin’s surface, improving your comfort during the treatment.

Exilis Elite is an effective body contouring treatment that can also create a firmer look to the affected area; improving skin texture for a more youthful look that is also well contoured. Reducing pinchable pockets of fat are the main aims of this treatment, therefore we will not always recommend this procedure if significant fatty deposits are to be removed.

As Exilis Elite delivers both heating and cooling to the skin and underlying tissues, the procedure will be closely monitored throughout. You will feel a warming sensation at the treatment site, at the start of the procedure, which is often described as being similar to a hot stone massage. This will be followed up with a cooling device to lower the temperature of the skin, and ensure you remain comfortable.

Exilis Elite rarely produces serious complications. The skin may look slightly red and feel a little sensitive, following the treatment, which will ease within a few hours. As a non-invasive procedure, there is rarely any downtime experienced and you will be free to continue with your day as normal.

Since the procedure is completely non-surgical you can get right back to normal daily life immediately. Please note that there may be temporary pinkness or redness in the skin for about 20-30 minutes post-treatment, however, this quickly subsides. If you do experience any of these irritations please note that they are temporary and will resolve completely.

As the skin may feel sensitive, it is advisable to avoid extremes of heat or cold, and exposure to the sun. Drinking plenty of water in the days that follow the treatment will assist the lymphatic system in flushing out the unwanted fat cells.

Unwanted fat – Some patients find that they achieve their goal in just 4 Exilis Elite treatments, however, others may need more to achieve their optimum results.

Sagging skin and wrinkles – After just 1 to 2 Exilis Elite treatment sessions, you should start to see some skin tightening but it will be 2-3 months after the end of your treatment course that you will see the best results.

BTL exilis is long-lasting, so long as you maintain your weight with normal diet and exercise.
